چکیده

We calculate the structure of accretion disc around a rapidly rotating black hole with a super-Eddington accretion rate. The luminosity and height of the disc are reduced by the advection effect. In the case of a large viscosity parameter, α > 0.03, the accretion flow strongly deviates from thermodynamic equilibrium and overheats in the central region. With increasing accretion rate, the flow temperature steeply increases, reaches a maximum, and then falls off. The maximum is achieved in the advection dominated regime of accretion. The maximum temperature in the disc around a massive black hole, M = 108M⊙, with α = 0.3 is of order 3 × 10 8 K. Discs with large accretion rates can emit X-rays in quasars as well as in galactic black hole candidates.

The dynamics of twisted accretion disc around a Kerr black hole

We derive the system of equations describing the time dependent twisted accretion disc around a Kerr black hole (twist equations). The post-Newtonian corrections to the equations of motion and effects of the gravitomagnetic force are taken into account. We show that introduction of appropriate coordinate system greatly simplifies the derivation of equations and allows to consider sufficiently l...

Description of Pseudo-newtonian Potential for the Relativistic Accretion Disk around Kerr Black Holes

We present a pseudo-Newtonian potential for accretion disk modeling around the rotating black holes. This potential can describe the general relativistic effects on accretion disk. As the inclusion of rotation in a proper way is very important at an inner edge of disk the potential is derived from the Kerr metric. This potential can reproduce all the essential properties of general relativity w...

A Limit Relation between Black Hole Mass and Hβ Width: Testing Super-eddington Accretion in Active Galactic Nuclei

In this paper, we show that there is a limit relation between the black hole mass (MBH) and the width at the half maximum (υFWHM) of Hβ for active galactic nuclei (AGNs) with super-Eddington accretion rates. When a black hole has a super-Eddington accretion rate, the empirical relation of reverberation mapping has two possible ways. First, it reduces to a relation between the black hole mass an...

Super-Eddington black hole accretion: Polish doughnuts and slim disks

The theory of highly super-Eddington black hole accretion, Ṁ ≫ ṀEdd, was developed in the 1980s in Warsaw by Paczyński and his collaborators [1]–[9] in terms of Polish doughnuts , i.e. low viscosity, rotating accretion flows that are optically thick, radiation pressure supported, cooled by advection, and radiatively very inefficient. Polish doughnuts resemble fat tori with two narrow funnels al...

The origin of optical emission from super - Eddington accreting Active Galactic Nuclei : the case of Ton S 180

Self-gravitating accretion discs have only been studied in a few nearby objects using maser spots at the parsec-scale. We find a new spectral window for observing the self-gravitating accretion disc in super-Eddington accreting Active Galactic Nuclei (AGNs). This window is determined by calculating the outermost radius (rsg) of a non self-gravitating disc and the corresponding emission waveleng...
